Bachelor Program: Intertational Logistics Management

Enrollment conditions and application deadlines 2024/25

Undergraduate Study Program: International Logistics Management

  • For enrollment in the 1st year, successful completion of one of the following is required:

    • General matura (national secondary school leaving examination) or

    • Vocational matura or

    • Final exams of any 4-year secondary school program or

    • International Baccalaureate (IB).

  • Direct enrollment into the 2nd year is possible (according to transition criteria):

    Graduates of higher vocational colleges (related and unrelated programs, accepted after 1994):

    • Graduates of related disciplines (graduates of logistics, transportation, economic, administrative, and professional programs). Besides regular study obligations, graduates of related disciplines must also pass 2 differential exams:

      • Basics of Logistics and Sustainable Mobility, and

      • Legal Frameworks for International Logistics.

    • Graduates of unrelated disciplines (graduates of other professional programs). Besides regular study obligations, graduates of unrelated disciplines must also pass 3 differential exams:

      • Basics of Logistics and Sustainable Mobility,

      • Legal Frameworks for International Logistics, and

      • Business Economics.

     

    Direct enrollment into the 2nd year is also possible for candidates who enroll based on recognized exams completed within other higher education study programs or first-cycle programs, if they have recognized exams from the 1st year in the following scope:

    • 40 ECTS for full-time study, or

    • 30 ECTS for part-time study.

    The conditions for enrollment are also fulfilled by those who have completed equivalent education abroad.

    In case of enrollment restrictions, candidates for enrollment based on transition criteria will be selected based on the average grade of previous studies and the number of available places.

  • Direct entry to the third year is possible for candidates who meet the following criteria:

     

    1. Graduates of higher professional schools (related and unrelated programs, accepted after 1994),

    • Graduates of related disciplines (logistics, transportation, economics, administrative, and professional programs) must, in addition to regular study obligations, pass 2 differential exams:

      • Basics of Logistics and Sustainable Mobility

      • Legal Frameworks for International Logistics

    • Graduates of unrelated disciplines (graduates of other professional programs) must, in addition to regular study obligations, pass 3 differential exams:

      • Basics of Logistics and Sustainable Mobility

      • Legal Frameworks for International Logistics

      • Business Economics

    2. Direct entry to the third year is also possible for candidates applying based on recognized exams from other higher education programs or first-level programs, if they have recognized exams from:

    • 40 ECTS for the regular program's second year, or 52 ECTS for the regular program's first year, or

    • 30 ECTS for the second year and 45 ECTS for the first year for the part-time program.

    3. Candidates who have completed equivalent education abroad also fulfill the entry requirements.

    In case of limited enrollment, candidates will be selected based on the average grade of their previous studies and the number of available seats.

  • Upon receiving the application, we will verify whether the candidate meets the admission requirements

  • In the event that the candidate does not meet the admission requirements, we will request them to supplement their application

  • With the conclusion of the application deadline and the commencement of the enrollment period, we invite candidates who meet the admission requirements to proceed with the enrollment process

  • A list of subjects for the respective academic year

  • An electronic timetable (lectures, exercises, exams)

  • Access to other participants in each subject (professors, students), and many other features.

  • Additionally, you will be requested to complete a placement test for Business English before the start of the academic year

  • The academic year begins in the first days of October

  • Lectures and exercises run until the end of June

  • The semester is organized cyclically, with lectures and exercises of two or three subjects taking place simultaneously, followed by examinations

Recognition of education obtained abroad

1. Scan of completed education abroad

The authenticity of the copy of the educational document will be verified with the issuer of the original document or the competent authority of the country of origin by the higher education institution. If we cannot confirm the authenticity of the document, the candidate will be asked to provide the original documentation of education obtained abroad. Original documents on completed education abroad must be legalized in such cases, based on the Hague Convention of 1961 (at the court of local jurisdiction where the certificate was obtained), and the APOSTILLE stamp must be correctly filled.

Without legalization: Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

Legalization in accordance with the Law on the Verification of Documents in International Traffic: all other countries. Under this law, the document is verified in accordance with the regulations of each foreign country, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The stamp and signature of the authorized person of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the foreign country are then also verified by the diplomatic or consular representation of the Republic of Slovenia abroad, accredited for that country, or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

2. Scan of a judicially certified translation of the educational document into Slovenian or English.

3. Scan of evidence of the content and duration of education (for example, grade transcripts for all years of high school) and translation of transcripts from the last two years of high school into Slovenian or English.
